Every time I say "enough, time to hide my passport and travel less" I am essentially lying to myself.
I love to travel (almost as much as I love red wine and cheese but that is an entirely different matter all together) and thankfully my chosen path as an English Ebony Escort (check out the use of key words there) I get to indulge in my passion more often than most.
Travel mishaps. By golly I have had a few.
There is the time where I turned up at the airport a day late, the time I turned up at the wrong airport, the time I turned up at the airport rather merry on Champagne but perfectly on time (thank you C!) however promptly fell asleep in the Club Lounge.
Not to mention lost luggage. Me in Lima but my baggage in Lyon. Me in San Jose but my baggage in Sardinia. Any one who has travelled more than once knows my pains.
That occasion when you're stuck on a plane next to an overly friendly person who wants to talk soap operas when you just want a G&T and 40 winks. Or when you decide to say "sod it I'm going cattle class" and end up squashed between 2 crying babies and the loo.
All of this aside - I love to travel. I'm off to San Fran and Hong Kong in a matter of days and I'm bubbling with excitement. For the wonderful dates I have planned with equally as wonderful gents. For the new accents and slang I get to hear (petition to make "y'all part of the English dialect please). And the food I'm going to eat! Did someone say Dim Sum!
Here is to travel. Mishaps and all! *airplane emoji*
P.s I'm a super wonderful companion who very much enjoys being flown abroad so lets do naughty things in nice places.
